I am an artist based in Bethnal Green, London with a studio in Bow and with an art practice of over 30 years. Just over two years ago my art and life completely changed. I woke up one morning and started having seizures, three weeks later I came out of a coma unable to walk, talk, think, speak or create.

Two years ago, I survived encephalitis and a coma. I had to relearn how to walk, talk, think, and create. But this near-death experience didn't end my 30-year artistic career; it transformed it. This collection represents a celebration of resilience, transformation and the healing power of art.
